Meet the Team

Dr David Ayre

GDC Number: 178010

Qualifications: BDS (Sheffield 2009)

Profile: David studied dentistry in Sheffield graduating in 2009. He worked in Loughborough for three years after graduating before moving to the northwest and joining our team to be nearer his wife's family. He works in the Frodsham Surgery and particularly enjoys treating nervous and anxious patients to help them overcome their fears.

Out of the office: He lives in South Manchester with his wife and two children. He is a passionate supporter of Sunderland football club and enjoys cooking and family holidays.

Dr Anna Lichomska

GDC Number: 155541

Qualifications: Lek Stom

Profile: Anna joined the practice in early 2012. She is originally from Poland and studied at Warsaw University, graduating in 1998. She has worked in practices in Cheshire and Shropshire before joining us in Frodsham. Patients often compliment Anna on her kind and caring nature.

Out of the office: Outside of work Anna is a dedicated mum to her two young daughters. When not at work, you will find Anna enjoying days out with her family.

Caroline Fowler – Practice Manager (GDC: 172121)

Caroline is the practice manager. Caroline has a wealth of experience in dentistry. She qualified in 2009 as a dental nurse. Caroline has a number of postgraduate qualifications in Oral Health Care & Radiography.

Anne Hodges

Anne is a longstanding member of the team. She was previously a dental nurse, but now works on the reception and helping with the decontamination process.

Leah Nancini – Registered Dental Nurse (GDC: 201600)

Leah qualified as a Dental Nurse in Chester in 2010 after undertaking the Level 3 National Diploma in Dental Nursing with City & Guilds.

Hannah Wilson – Registered Dental Nurse (GDC: 284757)

Hannah qualified as a Dental Nurse in 2019 after undertaking the Level 3 National Diploma in Dental Nursing with City & Guilds. 

Beth Smyth – Registered Dental Nurse (GDC: 295845)

Beth qualified as a Dental Nurse in 2021 after undertaking the Level 3 National Diploma in dental Nursing with City & Guilds.

Sophie Fairclough

Sophie started working at the practice in December 2021 and is undertaking her dental nursing apprenticeship to gain her Level 3 National Diploma.


Very good service from the dentist, had major phobia of dentists until I came to this one. Dentist was calm, positive, reassuring, and was very sensitive to my needs. Staff at reception are very welcoming and it gives you a positive feeling when you walk in there. Cannot fault the service- very pleased.
